A HAPPY GEANIE DAY

Last 13th of Jan 2007 was very memorable date for me for a simple reason... I've embarked on a new decade of my life.... turning 30-year old. Most of us ladies are terrified of gettin into this age bracket for many reasons:-
  1. 1. You're nearer to the 40+ age bracket
  2. 2. You can no longer claims that you're in your twenties
  3. 3. You're suppose to feel older... where everything is going south...
  4. 4. You're suppose to me more wise...
  5. 5. Your're suppose to have more than 1 child
  6. and the list goes on and on..... For me honestly, being 30 doesn't feel all that bad.. (since my age stop at 27) except my celebration become less exiting and if not for babe who kept on singging happy besday to you since 11th Jan.. i would've forgotten its going to be my birthday.

Thinking about it brought my childhood momories....when i was a little girl, i stayed in small village called Kg Ampang Tinggi. The age gap for my siblings were really close.. so we kindda grew up together at the same time. It was hard back then, my mom operated my school canteen and my dad's salary was not much. So we don't really celebrate birthday. I was brought up without any idea that the day you're borned was something which called for celebration....it was always no body cares bithday untill i went to boarding school where i mixed you with you rich kids.. and that was when my birthday celebration started. Once you knew that you're suppose to celebrate your birthday... you kindda expected to have it every year! You started to wish ppl would remember your birthday.. expect them to send you gifts.. or at least wishes you... or to the extreme you would expect ppl to through big supprise party for you... .

Being borned on January kindda boring... since its the begining of the year and ppl normally bz with new year preparation. there're more important things to do.. or to remembers. So this year.. i did get a pre-birthday celebration from babe... he actually gave it to me in mid december 2006...(Thank you honey!!!) So this year no supprise lah from him. And i did threw myself a birthday party with my family... We had a BBQ dinner and a Tiramisu cake. The dinner was great but the cake taste like a sour milk ( as described by Alya).

Except for my office friends... only Susan who send me sms wish...heheh... as for the rest of you... hisshhh.. how dares you forgot... hehe kindding... we have to admit after some time .. even the closest friend you have back then drifted apart. you're bz with your own lives, your family, your career... and not much time left for your social circle anymore...

Soo... as my final note... eventhough I'm already 30 years old now... it still feels like 27 to me but with much more wisdom and maturity (heheh babe do u agree???) I've got so much more to look forward to this year. I'll be graduating... i'm watching my baby girl growing tremendously... i'm understanding babe more and more.... and i'll be great this year!!!!

Cameron Breeze...

Heloo beloo...

Last weekend, we went to strawberry park of Cameron Highland for a short trip..at first i got this mix feeling that we should just cancell our trip bcoz of the yellow warning and babe wasn't feeling too well. i'm glad we went after all...

from kl to tapah.. it tooks us about 1.5 hours...( slow and easy drive of course). Then from tapah all the way up to tanah rata... took us another 5 hours ( 2 pitt stop for toilet and bank). I can't say much about the jurney up since me and arrissa were feeling rather woozy because of the twirling and dwendling road.. we slep most of the time... pity babe.....

at last we've checked in at strawberry resort... not as pretty as i expected... no strawberry hanging from the balcony or the garden area... the room is huge though... even the toilet is huge with large bath tub.. where we spent most of our time..

the whether was beautiful.. at least to me... it was drizzling all day...winds were breezing and very little sun... it was really cold.. almost remind me of my days in manchester...i was forced to put on gloves for arrissa since her tiny little hands were almost blue...

it was a extremely relaxing weekend for us.... we went shopping for fantastically fresh and juicy fruits .. oranges, honey corns, sweet potatoes... hates the strawberry thought.. it was way too sour for my taste... the constant rains force us to throw away our jogging plans.. but still there are some crazy mat salleh still put on their jogging shoes though.. may be they are used to this kinda weather. well not us.... rains makes us wants hang on to the warm quilts and sleeps all days... food and the hotel services were lousy!!!!!

by monday morning... we're totally refreshed and ready to go home... after fruits, vegetables and flower shopping... we were more than ready to go home... our drives down to tapah was really something... you gotto enjoy the nice air, and beautiful view of the forest around you... water falls was almost everywhere on the right side of the road... only if the weather was not too cold... we would have jump right into the Lata Iskandar waterfall..

on the left side of the road... there are orang asli houses ... some time the houses were arranged from the top and strech downward towards the valley... beautiful...it makes you appreciate what you have back home.. with this folks they could just chopped down tree branches.. joint it.. wrapped it in bamboo...cover it up with leaves ...and viola...they gotto a home... they plant their vegetables.. and hunt their food... they climbed the the petai tree and sells it..... some of them got creatives and keep up with the city folk hobby, would sells exotic jungle plant like tanduk rusa, pontianak tree and some wired looking moss... too bad i didn't got the chance to buy it....

well enough mumbling... all in all it was really a great, cheap and simple trip for us.....

too bad tarak picture to publiish... tak download lagi...

cheerioo....
